Chili Hummus

Hummus is always a great addition to your food. It adds proteins to your plate, it’s creamy and tastes amazing. Or, at least this one does! For this occasion, I made mine to have in a wrap which is a stolen idea really from the fantastic store and restaurant Pepstop in Stockholm. If you’re ever there, check it out.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (400g) chickpeas in water
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp plant based mayo (or 1 tbsp olive oil)
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.5 lemon (the juice)
  • Sea salt, black pepper and chili powder (after taste)
  • A bit of water if needed, to make it easier to mix.

Start by draining the chick peas (save the liquid as it can be used to make other things!). Then, add all of the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Just as easy as it sounds!

Still can't believe that I no longer count everything that I eat, that I'm not on a diet. You encouraged me to open my eyes and to actually see myself as a beautiful human being. Thank you for sharing your journey and for being so genuine and honest about the struggles you still have, it made me feel like we are in this together. You're awesome!
Wow! I've learned so much about nutrition and food, things that I had no idea about before. Working with you...

Wow! I've learned so much about nutrition and food, things that I had no idea about before. Working with you has helped me create a food preference of my own and I've realised that healthy is not defined by my size.
